Launched on Wednesday 20th January, hits are pouring into www.embracethis.co.uk from around the globe – the current total is 58 countries and counting! The advert appears to be touching a nerve in many viewers, and we have received a lot of positive feedback either by emailThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or on the Facebook group, which was set up by one impressed viewer who wants it to be shown on national TV.

Malheureusement je n'étais pas présent ce matin (le biberon de 7h:) mais voici la situation:

En 2009, les achats réalisés sur le Web par les adultes québécois ont atteint 3,4 milliards de dollars, soit une augmentation de 200 millions par rapport à l’année 2008. C’est ce que révèle le bilan annuel de l’Indice du commerce électronique au Québec produit par le CEFRIO et Phéromone, en collaboration avec Léger Marketing. Au cours d’un mois type, la proportion de cyberacheteurs a connu une croissance moyenne de 33 %, passant de 15 % en 2008 à 20 % en 2009 ; entre les mois de janvier et de décembre, 1,2 million d’adultes québécois en moyenne ont fait des achats sur Internet.

PUB: red bull stratos

The mission, Red Bull Stratos, will take renowned athlete Felix Baumgartner to at least 120,000 feet above the earth, to the very edge of Space.

From there, he will attempt a stratospheric free fall jump - the longest in the history of man - and hopefully will become the first human to break the speed of sound with his own body.

This is a mission to overcome limits which have existed for almost fifty years, ever since the heroic achievement of the young US Air Force test pilot, Joe Kittinger, with his 1960 Excelsior mission.

Red Bull Stratos will attempt to make history and deliver valuable learnings for medical and scientific advancement that will aid the exploration of space in future years.

Sid Lee is experiencing a new form of corporate retreat… at Burning Man. We recently launch a competition that will send one of 6 competing teams (Secret Society, The Virgins, Golden Shower, V, etc.) to Burning Man in 2010, all expenses paid.

Teams have until March 1st to make an impression on the staff by hosting even...ts, organizing stunts and generally acting in a Burningmanesque way (if only they can figure out what that means!). A general election will take place to select the winning team and you will be able to follow them as they take on the Playa with an art project next fall. Stay tuned.
